"Joseph Sharp had been a sailor before he came to live in Canada across the border from Presque Isle, home of Charlotte Chase. They became the parents of Horatio and Minnie. Minnie married John Casey.

During flood of 1932, George and Gayne built a raft and used it at Marmouth ND. Married Marjorie and waited till they were married before telling anyone.
