Keith was a small child when the family lived in Stratford, SD. It was there he had his tonsils out, along with his brother George. He was called "Angel child" by Violet and George W.
because Keith always got the two of them in trouble. Ida never blamed him for anything. She let him get away with murder. In fact, Keith fell into Cass Lake and had to be pulled out. He always had a big wad of candy in his mouth. Keith is about the same height as his father.
Keith joined the Air Force and studied to be a pilot. He was stationed on a base in Enod, Oklahoma and Kansas. During his studies, he was diagnosed as having a heart murmur. This stopped from being a pilot and became a mechanic instead. He eventually went to Taipei during war.
Keith was baptised at Calvery Episcopal Church, in Sioux City IA. just before entering the Air Force. George M. visited Keith while stationed in Kansas.
Keith married Peggy Jester in Coffeville, OK. in 1942.
Their first child, Karen, was born about 1943-1944. Karen stayed with George and Ida, while Keith was at war. George taught Karen how to walk. Keith left the service on 11/21/1945. Their second child, Sherry, was born in 1946 in San Francisco, CA.
Keith divorced Peggy and married Donna Lousebrink at St.
Paul EV. Lutheran Church. She had a still-born baby, Terry, due to Donna's diabetes. The baby is interred in Babyland at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, IA.
